Article VIII - General Provisions

• Fifteen percent of the "Active Membership" present and voting at a business meeting properly called will constitute a quorum.
• The quorum for the council, ministry and committee meetings will be a majority of their respective memberships.

All business meetings of the church and of the council, ministries, committees and organizations of the church will be conducted according to Robert's Rule of Order.

Increases or new initiatives in ministry areas or new capital items over $2,000 are to be reviewed and voted by the council with input from the finance ministry; changes over 2% of the budget are to be recommended by the council to the congregation for approval. (Increases in ministry budgets up to $2,000 would be reviewed and decided at Finance.)
